Loretta Fitzgerald, Registered Dental Hygienist
Registered Dental Hygienist, Loretta decided on a career in dentistry after being encouraged by her orthodontist. Now she spends her days working with patients, reviewing medical histories and x-rays.
People have this idea about the dentist’s office that we are not compassionate. After 33 years of working with dentists I assure you – that is not the case!
Loretta grew up in rural Beaverville, IL, and later moved to the SW suburbs before settling in Elk Grove Village. She earned her AAS in Dental Hygiene at Prairie State College, her BS from Saint Francis University, and has also completed many hours of continuing education to stay current on the latest techniques and practices. Loretta is a social person who loves helping people.
The best part of my job is seeing the end result. I work with a great team, and love to hear patients say “My teeth look great!”
When she’s not helping create beautiful smiles, Loretta can be found spending time with her husband, Marty, often watching their three sons (Sean, Jack, and Thomas) playing sports. She has worked/volunteered with the PADS organization over the past 12 years. Loretta says her greatest achievement is “Surviving raising teenagers!” Given time, she would take her whole family on a European vacation.
