Overview
Children as young as 1 can show signs of improper facial and oral development. Early intervention can alter the adverse growth and hopefully prevent it from recurring.
Our Approach
We evaluate our young patients for the following problems: tongue and lip tie; open mouth breathing; incompetent lip seal; poor tongue posture; deep bite. The treatment approach incorporates orthodontic appliances and orofacial myology exercises.
